The Four Elements Every Email Marketing Flyer Should Include

For some real estate professionals, this blog post could be elementary. Surely everyone includes the most crucial bits of information when sending out real estate email marketing, right?

Well…. maybe not. Leaving out critical information happens more often than you might think.

Leaving out any one of these four things can be the difference between finding a great prospect and losing business. Even worse, not including this information could cost you credibility. After all, if someone’s actually interested in the property you’re marketing, you don’t want to frustrate them making it difficult for them to learn more.

If you are in the real estate industry, these four components MUST always be included on every piece of communication:

  • Address– Yes, the physical address. We realize that sometimes when marketing a property to the general public you may have reasons for leaving out the exact address, but this is email communications sent to other realtors. They’re busy professionals just like you, and this important detail may be the information they need to determine if they have the right buyer for you.

  • MLS Number– Again, since you’re emailing other real estate professionals, give them the tools they need to find out more.

  • Price– It’s needed. If they like the property they need to know the price. And if it’s not in the price range their buyers afford, why waste their time having them look into it just to learn that fact? Let them know up front. You’ll get better qualified leads if you do.

  • Contact Information– This includes your email, website, business telephone and social media channels.

These four pieces of information are non-negotiable. It is not enough to have one without the others. By including these on each flier, you’ll get better qualified leads from your efforts, and your recipients will appreciate the complete set of information making them more likely to want to do business with someone who’s so buttoned up.
